Cashculator+: Personal Finance App Reviews

Its efficient and beautiful! Perfect for teaching children to budget and understand thier money flow. For the trial version (free download), it is very limited in "scenarios" or accounts (only 2) but otherwise very simple neat. Highly recommend for "adult" use as well as your kids.

Exactly what I was looking for. Im just a young college student and simply want to budget my spending and savings and this is quite simple to use. Does what it needs to. It would be great if there was an iOS app for this so I can enter my expenses on the go and it would sync with my mac app.

Everything is amazing, and I can track my money down to the penny with the forecasted ending and beginning balances. I love the fact we can create and label our income and expense accounts; they make things so much easier. BUT IT IS LACKING ONE THING. A **Savings** category. Right now Im putting the amounts I put into savings every month as an expense, but this tends to get confusing in the months down the road. PLEASE make a savings category along side expense and income. I wouldve given 5 stars if it was included. But its an amazing free app. I would pay $20 for it!

This is a very useful app and make it easy to manage my money. At the end of each month Ill know where my money went. Whats so great about this app is that its absolutly FREE!

I really want to change my review to five stars, because this program is almost great, but its missing an obvious feature. It doesnt reconcile according to current/real/actual income and expenses. The reconciliation only accounts for your planned income and expenses. Lame sauce. Beside this it would be a fantastic app.

It is an app you should have one if you care about your money.

Goodbye excel and powerpoint for charting my finances!!! This app is the perfect example of why I love apple more than windows. EVERYTHING IS SO INTUITIVE AND EASY!!! There arent a bunch of stupid buttons I never use. It has everything I need to plan and keep track of all of my finances. Now Ill be able to spend less time managing my money, and more time actually enjoying it! This is my favorite app on my whole computer. Best app in the app store hands down.

When I downloaded Cashculator Free, I was looking for an application to categorize and record my spending/recieving, just to see where it all went on a monthly basis - it turned out to be the perfect app for that. I am a single, low-income (well, practically, broke) college student, with no dependents. At the end of each month I review my online bank statements and enter them into the categories (that I customized for myself) in Cashculator. Then, I just see for myself how I need to change my spending habits. This is really easy, because, like I said, you can customize spending categories and, at the click of a button, see how your income/outcome differ.

App is too simple, but works well!

This app is so much better than the multiple Excel sheets Ive tried to create a monthly budget in and I can easily compare planned vs actual and see the projected and past costs all at the same time! I use this app all the time and love it!

I love that my budgeting app was free. After you learn its fairly easy to use.

just use it for half month, like it very much. record every tiny spending in, its fun

Ive always been good with my finances, but Ive never really written or recorded anything…just kept receipts. Its good to input everything in the computer, I can put goals for what I want to spend, and see what I actually spend. For me the free version is enough, I dont need to plan more than 2 months ahead for now. I havent used it for terribly long, just about a month now I think, but it has been a good recording tool. I havent even discovered everything you can do with it, but Im liking it so far.

I think this program has a lot of potential to be a great app. It would be nice if they had a current balance section that is easier to read (hopefully on ever page). To show you exactly how much you have left after paying all of the bills. This is a good start.

Simply looks overwhelming for a Newbie to finance stuff--and cant even find a way past the tutorial. Plus keeps askign me to upgrade $29.99!! sheesh.

Im moving to another country. Im 18 years old so this app really helps. Im able to keep my expenses and income organised. Im able to clearly see and plan what Im earning and spending. This is a great, easy to use app. :)

It works if you set it up correctly. I like the speed and the flexibility. Easy to customize for ones lifestyle. Easy to learn.

Works great for me as my long-term/annual planner. Can add as many bills/charges as needed, clear chart of cash flow and planned bills, etc. Well put together, simple layout. Exactly what I was looking for.
